Zoho One Implementation for Agri eCommerce Startup

Overview

We have successfully implemented Zoho One for our client in Agri eCommerce Industry. The implementation helped them manage their entire business processes, right from lead nurturing to sales and maintaining stocks in the inventory and accounting process.

The client aimed to use Zoho CRM to capture leads and maintain their sales process. They have used Zoho inventory to get more sales and maintain the inventory of products and services. Moreover, with the help of Zoho Books, they were able to handle accounting and Zoho Analytics for reporting purposes.

About Client

The client is an agricultural-focused e-commerce startup firm that helps local dairy farmers have better access to quality cattle, cattle nutrition / feed, veterinary and health advisory services and keep the industry well-organized. 

Client offers end-to-end services to dairy farmers from cattle procurement to feeding and whole asset management. They had multiple branches, warehouses and hundreds of users across locations.

Challenges

Some of the challenges that client was facing were:

• Mapping entire business process of client on Zoho Applications
• Multiple Branches across states with multiple GSTs
• Multiple Warehouses across multiple branches
• Avoid manual work like manually creating invoices and shipping
• Automatic mapping of Sales Order to nearest warehouses for optimum delivery
• Route planning for deliveries and foolproof mechanism to collect COD amounts 

Solution

• Dhruvsoft consultants implemented multiple applications in Zoho One family for the client including – Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, Zoho People, Zoho Payroll, and Zoho Analytics.
• A custom application was built on Zoho Creator to implement the branch and warehouse mapping feature. This functionality was developed in such a way that the branch and warehouse get mapped automatically based on the shipping pin code of the client on the creation of the Sales Order
• API Integration was done with Route Planning Software for creating delivery consignment and updating the status
• Apart from out of Box Shopify Integration – API Integration was done to integrate with Shopify fetch abandoned cart and payment information.

Outcome

Zoho One applications were successfully used with hundreds of Orders per day. Most of the customer needs were met successfully with customized applications in Zoho One family.
